To make it even more difficult, their walls and ceilings were plaster rather than drywall. There was a big concern about damage to the plaster, as we would need to drill through to install return vents and supply registers. After much discussion, all the other companies the customer requested help from denied their request. We were the only heating and cooling contractor willing, that had the care and expertise to do the job correctly.
Heat Pump and Furnace Installation Details
Upon arrival at the job, we protected their house with drop cloths and spent several hours just on cleanup when the job was completed. The job included removing the old oil boiler and associated water system throughout the house and re-routing gas lines to the furnace location in the attic. We also added 2 return air grills, 14 supply runs with registers in the ceiling, installed the gas furnace, coil, and filtration system in the attic and ran the new refrigerant lines.
